Why it matters here

EAT-Lancet operates one rung above where the physiological rights argument operates. Its object is a dietary pattern defined at population level and at planetary scale; its unit of analysis is servings, food groups and greenhouse-gas equivalents. The argument on the physiological adequacy of specific micronutrients within such a pattern, and on the individual-level variation that the pattern collapses, is out of its scope by design. That definitional choice is exactly what this resource is contesting on the individual side.
