U.S. Supplement Trade Associations (NPA, UNPA, CHPA)

Cluster of U.S. trade associations that share the political defense of the dietary supplement regulatory regime established by the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA). The Natural Products Association (NPA) represents the wider natural products industry; the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) represents ingredient suppliers, manufacturers and retailers of dietary supplements and natural products; the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) represents manufacturers of over-the-counter medicines, dietary supplements and consumer medical devices.
