Content licence
All original editorial content (editorials, critiques, definitions, rights fiches, reports) is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). You are free to reuse, translate, adapt and redistribute the content, including for commercial purposes, on two conditions: attribution to physiological-rights.org with a link back to the source page, and redistribution of any derivative work under the same licence.
Excerpts from external sources cited within the pages (peer-reviewed articles, legal instruments, historical texts, third-party quotations) remain the property of their respective authors and rights holders; their reproduction here falls under fair use for critical commentary and research.
Independence and funding
This is a volunteer, single-author project. It receives no funding from the pharmaceutical industry, from diagnostic laboratories, from supplement manufacturers, or from any other commercial interest whose activities are discussed in the pages. It receives no institutional grant. It has no advertising, no sponsorships, no affiliate links, and no data monetisation.
This declaration is not a rhetorical flourish. The argument developed in Behind Every Test, an Industry is that industrial alignment shapes which nutrients get tested and which do not. The same argument obliges the resource to be transparent about its own alignments, or the absence of them.
Editorial responsibility
The content is written and reviewed by the publisher. Editorial choices, source selection, and framing are the publisher’s sole responsibility. Errors of fact are the publisher’s responsibility and are corrected on notice.
The resource is not a medical service. It does not provide personalised medical advice. It documents the state of a field, argues for a clinical specification of the right to food, and points readers to sources they can read themselves. Any clinical decision remains between the reader and their clinicians.
Personal data
The site collects no personal data. There are no cookies set by the site itself, no tracking scripts, no analytics beyond what GitHub Pages logs at the server level for basic operational purposes (IP addresses in short-lived access logs, retained by GitHub under its own policy). No newsletter, no account creation, no contact form beyond a direct email link.
Readers who send email to the publisher’s address are handled under Gmail’s own terms of service and privacy policy.
Applicable law
This resource is edited in Canada (Quebec). Disputes not resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, without prejudice to any protective provisions of the reader’s own jurisdiction where applicable.
